Yes, that is a special, special thing for her to do. To give her access to all my craft stuff...oh my!
Well, I gave in and said ' Sure honey' as I secretly prayed I had put away all my stash. You know the stuff you had to have because you LOVE it, the stuff you don't use because you love it!
Here is the card she made using a MelJen's image
She picked out everything herself :) Not bad for a 5 year old!
While there I played around with a freebie Melissa gave out on Facebook this weekend. I'd like to enter it into the MelJen's challenge blog-boys challenge
I coloured it up with my copic makers and added a Recollection border sticker. It didn't fit so I cut it and placed the top portion of it ( the dotted line) at the top. The sentiment I made in Word and I finished it off with the half pearls in the black circles. So hard not to add ribbon/flowers on it!!
Thanks for popping by :)
The snowman´s face is too funny! We sadly had no snow at all over here the whole winter… Your daughter did a fantastic job on her card! So lovely! Love your card, too :D Hugs, Sujin
ReplyDeleteSnow, we have lots but it's too hard to make a snowman. Your daughter's card is so cute she did a beautiful job. I giggled when I saw that you put "stuff" away I crafted with my grandson when he was about that age, gave him a piece of cardstock and he folded it in half and cut a heart out of the middle. Your card is also super cute.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Laura! Love the sentiment! Your daughter's card is adorable too! Thanks for playing along with us over at Meljen's Designs this week.
ReplyDeleteGreat CAS design using this sweet image, Laura! Your daughter's card is also sweet. Thanks for joining the Meljen's Designs "For the boys" challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteLove the sentiment Laura! Is it ok if I copy cat your idea? Perfect for those Birthdays I forgot...
