Digi Darla Challenge Time!

Happy Monday morning or as I like to call it Happy DD Challenge Day!

So I have to tell you, I love Spring. I love to see the new growth sprouting, the birds singing, the fresh air. But to be honest, I don't like gardening. I guess I've never been properly taught how to garden, and yes I do believe you need to be taught HOW to garden. I base this on my previous experience of simply planting and praying for results. Apparently you have to water things, kill things (bugs), and plant them in specific areas (not to much sun, full sun, etc.) To much work for this momma of 3!

I have tried. Really, I have. Even thought one year I'd get the boys involved in helping me dig to plant. That was a HUGE mistake.. Couple that with my son showing up at the back door with a fist of full of green stuff he has newly discovered and you can image my frustration in gardening.

Anywho,  I had such a fun time colouring up the image DD Dogwood Bouquet for the challenge this week over at the Digi Darla Challenge Blog called : "How does your garden grow?" - Show us your flowers, trees or veggies.

Yep, these flowers I can handle! Thanks for stopping by and remember the winner gets 5 images from the Digi Darla Designs store. Use a DD image and you could get 3 more! Good luck :)

  4. LOL!!! Great post and I agree, gardening is a LOT of work!! We bought our house in March (19 yrs ago) and imagine my surprise when spring came and we had gardens galore and me, Mrs. Greenthumb (NOT!) well .. lost some of it. Now that my kids are older, the last couple yrs I've started taking more of an interest in it and starting to enjoy it. The trick is to stay on top of the weeding. We have some gorgeous gardens, but took me years to figure everything out!

Love your card this week, very pretty image!
