Digi Darla Challenge #55 Flowers

Head on over to the Digi Darla Challenge Blog and join the current challenge : Flowers.

There are 5 images to be won and if you use a DD image you get a chance to win a total of 8 digis!! How cool is that?

Here is a card I made for this challenge. I used the DD imaged called "Grace on Bench" and you can purchase it here.

Although the digi comes with 2 flowers on it already, I wanted to add texture to my card so  I added some prima flowers. I added  gems to the centers to finish them off. I coloured Grace with my Copic markers and used my Big Shot to cut out the die cuts. The ribbon is from SU and so is the punch I used for the edging of the cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by, you have one week to join in the fun :)

I heart card sketches #10

I decided to play along this week at Faith's blog From the Heart.

I used the sketch and digi from Faith called 'Spring Baskets'. It is available in her store, but also a freebie if you played along in her progressive challenge. Here is my card

I don't really celebrate St. Patricks day so I thought the clovers would look like flowers if I added half pearls in them. I used Copics to colour my image and cut my card down about an inch. The sentiment I printed off the computer and to complete the card I added a button embellishment.

Thanks for stopping in. Have a super Wednesday!
Hugs
Laura :)

It's Easter time at Clear it Out

Head on over for an Easter challenge at the Clear it Out Challenge Blog!

We have a new sponsor joining us

When I was browsing the images I was immediately drawn to Bunny Hole.
I loved the idea of him peaking out of the ground.

Here is the card I made for the challenge 'anything but a rectangle card'

It was hard to take a picture of this little guy, he kept rolling away-lol!
I printed him out twice and popped up the head and carrot. It was coloured with Copic markers.
My stash items include the papers and ribbon from SU, as well as, the 'all ears' charm. I must have had that thing for about 4 years!

The challenge runs until April 1st (nope, it's not a joke)
Thanks for stopping by!

Next I'm going to try the cloud technique.

The challenge runs for one week and you can use any image to play along. BUT, if you use a Digi Darla image you get a chance to  win 3 more images!

I look forward to visiting your blog to see what you have created. Have a great week!

Button Up at Digi Darlas

It's time to Button up at Digi Darla Designs challenge blog. I used the image Holy Horse found here. I just loved the look of the horse and knew what I wanted to do with it.

I printed off the wood image found on Google, cutting it to form a stable. I added the green buttons, embroidery floss and key. Dimensionals were added behind the nose and far right of the horse's head which makes it look like he is coming out of the barn.

You have one week to enter the challenge and if you used a Digi Darla image you can win an additonal 3 images. That's a total of 8 images to be won-sweet! Before I go I have to leave you with this link to a funny horse video. My son was killing himself laughing-enjoy.

Digi Darla Challenge Time

I made a Happy Birthday card for the latest DigiDarla Design Challenge-use GREEN.
Using the adorable image Ballet Beauty, I created this card with a touch of pink.

Isn't she adorable? I just had to use this image. It reminded me of my daughter.

She recently took dance classes and as a mom, I envisioned tutus, hairdos, and fun. What I got was a a jean wearing, hard working, little monkey instead! She refused to wear a tutu until recital day. Refused.

She focused on getting the routine down and practiced every minute of the day she could. On recital day she asked for her hair to be in ponytails, put on her Cinderella dress (which kind of has a tutu bottom) and was the only child that successfully completed her routine. Did I mention she was 3? I think I may be in trouble when she hits her teen years-lol

Anywho, you have one week to play along in the challenge. The winner gets 5 DigiDarla Design images AND if you use a DD image you get a chance to win 3 more-cool!
Can't wait to see what you create.
Thanks for stopping by :)
