Progressive Challenge at CDAC

Here is a card I made last week for the CDAC Progressive Card Challenge. If you'd like to join in you can buy the digis for $1 <--yep, I said digiS. If you play along you get the next set for free!

The image I used is from Stamping Dragon Designs called 'girl bunny stamp'.

I started off with an old onesie template I had. I covered it with cardstock on this inside and out. I coloured and added the bunny with pop dots. The 'adorable' stamp is from Stampin' Up. I used a circle scallop punch for the neck and arm trim. I then punched out 3 circles and added them to the bottom for snaps. I also chalked the edges.

Let me know what you think and feel free to follow along to see what I create next :)

Digi Darla Buttons Challenge

This week at Digi Darla's the challenge is 'Buttons'. I used an adorable freebie image called Courtin' Caleb
Sorry the picture is blurry my children were 'using' my camera :(
I used Copics and pencil crayons to colour him in, the sentiment is a rub on. I added a button in the middle of the flower. Not sure how well this is showing but the background is actually a lovely purple.

Thanks for looking :)

Hambo Hoedown-Hop Art Designs

There are a new bunch of digis in town, and all for a great cause!

This week at the Hambo Hoewdown they are launching a new set of digis by Hop Art Design. Let me tell you, they are stinkin' cute! The best part-all the proceeds will go towards a cause called Operation Write Home. (see Hambo link above for more details)

The digi we got to play with this week is called 'Trena with Heart'

My favourite medium to use is plain old pencil crayons. Easy to shade, lots of colours, inexpensive. I've started to jump on the Copic bandwagon (I only have skin colours) otherwise I'm sure that my fav medium would be colouring with them-lol

So jump on over to Hambo, they have a blog hop of all the cool digis that Hop Art Designs made. You can purchase them in the Hambo Stamps Store.

Have a great day, and remember to smile, it's contagious!

Dustin Pike's Playground Challenge

It's time for an awesome challenge at the Pike's Playground! But before I show you my card I have a question for you...have you made and sent a card to Emily? Take a few minutes and read the blog, create a card, and plant a smile on her adorable little face :)

The challenge is to use an image of Dudley the Dragon. Dudley, in my opinion, is one of THE BEST dragon images you will find anywhere. Don't believe me? Check out his cute little mug on my card
Okay, fair enough not my best photo. My monkeys have been 'secretly' taking pictures of everything and of course adjusting everything on my camera. Did I mention they are all under 7. Yep, it's going to take me a few days to figure this one out!

So if you want a better view and see some other awesome digis, pop on over to Dustin's store and check it out. (Nope I don't have shares in the company, just a fan-lol)

Have a fabulous day :)
