I was given the image WEDDING BLISS to use and I get to give it away to one lucky commenter.
Firstly, thank you all for your kind comments. I love to hear what you think, especially when you comment on a specific feature of the card.
Anywho, the winner is Edwina "Your card is so pretty! You did a great job with it.the roses and leaves are beautiful. Love the softness of the card. Thanks for sharing. Edwina" Thanks Edwina :)
This week
For this challenge I used the image 'Grace paints' . When I first saw this I knew exactly what I was going to do. Don't you love when a digi inspires you like that!
Here is the process I used called Masking to get the background.
Cut out a second image. I used regular printer paper
Cover your image. Here you could use some spray tack to put it on. I just simply use my hands <--really high tech
Take your ink pad and push the lid against it so ink goes on to the lid.
Take your aqua painter and gently squeeze a bit of water out. Mix it with the ink and start painting.
Easy peasy. No rules. My only suggestion would be not to go back and forth. I find it easiest to go in one direction with the brush.
Faux matching twine - for the twine I simply wrapped regular white twine (I got from the dollar store eons ago) around my bone folder. (a ruler would do). I took a matching copic marker and drew lines along the string on the diagonal. Voila, matching twine!!
Thanks for stopping by!
