Time to Clear it Out!

It's another great challenge at the Clear it out Challenge blog! Head on over and play in our 'food/punches' challenge.

Lacy Sunshine is our fabulous sponsor this week. Here is the image I chose to play with Lolli Sticky Wings

I coloured her up with my copics and used my corner punch around the image and base. I added a flower/button  from my stash. I also added a scroll from my new  spellbinders die set-woot, woot!

Totally excited I got this! It was free because I bought it using gift cards -check out this post to find out how.

The challenge runs until Monday at 8pm (note the new time ending)

I'd also like to enter this into the progressive challenge at Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog.
(you seriously have to go check out their creations-wowie!)

Melonheadz challenge time!

Head on over to the Melonheadz Friends blog and check out this week's girly challenge.

I just love the little faces on the bundle 'Picture day'. My favourite though are the frames, I have so many ideas for those!

I added 'best friends' and 'forever' then printed out 2 frames. I chose to use the coloured version for the heads as they matched my daughter and her friend perfectly.

I had a giggle when I was making this. My daughter asked me what I wrote, so I told her. She then told me that 'at lunch time we weren't BFF's but then we made friends again and now we are BFF's'

I asked her why they stopped for a little bit. She told me that her friend wanted to play in the field and she didn't.  Lol, easy come easy go I guess at the kindergarten level. Who knew 5 year olds had such friendship drama ;)

The challenge runs for 2 weeks, can't wait to see what you create!

It's a green challenge at MelJen's Design team

I made this cute little dragon for the 'Green' challenge at the MelJen's Design challenge

He was so fun to colour up

I used my copic markers, added buttons and a bow to finish it off. The sentiment is from TLC creations 'you are a beam of sunlight sent from God', too cute right?

Here's a little tip. If you don't have a circle punch and create one by hand, like I did, it may not be straight. To fix it simply take your scissors, open them and run the edge along the outside of the circle. It creates a textured edge and hides any mistakes...ask me how I know ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Goody Goody Gumdrops!

There's a progressive challenge over at the Lacy Sunshine blog!

I had to giggle when I read the challenge theme 'Spring Colours'. Yesterday we had the windows open and sweaters on, today we are in our parkas shoveling snow. So good to be in Canada! Actually I love the snow, it's the sleet I could do without. Makes the snow so darn heavy!

Anywho, I loved the digi that was free this challenge Gemma Spring Flower Gumdrops, she inspired me to create this word art to use on my card.

I've added it below for you to use if you like :)  I thought this could be a card you can send to someone with good news to share.

Thanks for stopping by, I loved reading your comments today about my daughter's card. She was grinning ear to ear from all your kind words.
hugs
Laura

A get well soon and goodbye

My daughter asked me why I wasn't going to use this digi on my card. I explained that DD was closing the store because Kim wasn't feeling so good (she's just 5yrs old)

She asked if she could make a card with it to make Emilea's momma feel better

Here is her card, wishing you all the best

Thanks for having me on the DT, I've enjoyed working with the DD images :)
Crafty hugs,
Laura & Olivia

Saying goodbye

Digi Darla's has closed it's doors due to health issues but they are going out with a bang!

In addition to the current challenge there is a 'Farewell' challenge. All you need to do is post a new OR old Digi Darla card you've made to the challenge blog.

Each DT will be picking a winner so you have 7 chances to win 5 Digi Darla images! Out of all the entries 3 people will win 10 images-crazy right?

I looked over some of my DT cards to pick a favourite, here you go

I have to say I really enjoyed making this one look like a horse coming out of his stable. I ended up giving to my niece and she loved it.

It's been fun hanging out and creating for the Digi Darla Team. I wish Kim good health and all the best.
As for my Teamies, I will surely see you around in blog land, hugs to you all xx

From the heart,progressive challenge

No word art today folks, this digi came with some fantastic sentiments by Faith at From the Heart Stamps. He was free when you played in last month's challenge. To find out how to get him click on the link above.

This one was super cute and easy to do. I layered the pig over the word art in Microsoft word, changing the colour. I then coloured him up with my copics, added a heart and voila!

Seriously cute right?  The challenge is on for the whole month :)
Thanks for popping in.
