I love the digis at Hambo Stamps and this week is no exception. Take a look over at the Hambo Hoedown for a complete view of this dig called 'Goat'.
My card is very simple. I used up some scrap green dp paper I had and popped up a few tuffs of grass.
My hubbie made the barn in the background for me.
The recycled bit is my blue gingham ribbon. It came off the top of a chocolate box I got from Easter.
Did you know one way to flatten a ribbon, when you don't have a ribbon iron, is to bend it over a hot light-bulb? Try it, just be careful not to burn yourself!
Thanks for popping by

Challenge time!
I made a card combining some challenges this week. The image is from Sassy Studios.
I covered some chipboard, popped up 'Rah,Rah, Rhonda' and printed off the sentiment from my computer. Thanks for popping by :)

It's Challenge time at Digi Darla's
Good morning! I am so happy to see the sun shining after all the rain we've had. I do love the rain, just not when it's coupled with cold temperatures.
I was so excited to see this week that Bugaboo is sponsoring the at Digi Darla's Challenge Blog.
The challenge theme is 'anything goes' using a Bugaboo or Digi Darla stamp.
Here is the card I made using a Bugaboo stamp
I popped up the wizard, stars, and words 'come true' for dimension. Although the picture doesn't show it, the stars on the wizard's garment are glittery :)
Thanks for stopping by, have a fabulous day :)

DYSU challenge
The challenge this week at DYSU is to use stripes. I used an image from TLC, I hope you like it :)
I coloured the butterfly then cut out the top of it's wings to make it pop off the card. I then added glitter to make it sparkle. Ribbon and gems were added to add a finishing touch.
Thanks for looking!

It's Hambo time!
It's time for another fab challenge at the Hambo Hoedown Challenge site! I chose to use the image " Bailey" for my card.
I added some spots in my painting program and popped up Bailey with dimensionals The hearts are my '4 of something' (they are brads). The first layer of white is also popped up on dimensionals The sentiment I wrote up on the computer.
Hope you enjoyed my CAS take on this challenge :)

Clear it Out Challenge
This week at the Clear it Out Challenge we are inspired by a song!
My family has always grown up with music, many of us played an instrument (or two). We always have music playing in our home, I can't image life without it. I think there is a song for every mood and occasion. :)
So it wasn't a surprise when one day (at the age of 2-ish) my son started playing air guitar when he heard a song on the radio. It must have really stirred his soul because he 'played' for the whole song. That's a lot of time for a little peanut!
A few years later you can find him still strumming the air to random tunes. It really makes us giggle, he gets so into it! For his birthday we bought him a guitar which he likes, but clearly doesn't work as well as his 'air' guitar :)
I made this layout based on the song by Kiss-(I wanna rock and roll all night)
The cutie patootie image is from Bugaboo. You can check it out here.
Bugaboo is the sponsor this week at the Clear It Out Challenge so if you want to win some digi's, go check it out!

Digi Darla Challenge
It's time for a 'Festive Flower' challenge at the Digi Darla Challenge blog.
Once again I used the Courtin' Caleb digi. I can't help it, it reminds me of my son, he's too cute!
I used some flowery Dp from my stash, some flowers with gems, and an image with flowers to boot! Think I've covered all my bases ;)
Today my son had a 'mommy and me' day. We went to church, had lunch, went to a friend's house, and then shopped for some treats for his birthday goodie bags.
I had a great time spending one on one time with him, but in those moments of 'hugs' and 'I love you's', I am sadly reminded my baby is growing up. I found today I was hugging him a little longer, listening more intently.
At one point I took my camera out because I wanted to capture him just as he is now. He is such a kind hearted, loving boy.
I am so blessed to have him :)
