It's time to play along at Penny's challenge!

It's time for another 'anything goes' theme at Penny's challenges.

One of the sponsors is Karleigh Sue

This is my first time colouring up a Karleigh Sue image and I had so much fun doing it. Here is the card I made

I coloured her with my copics adding green to her face like a mask. Flowers and die cuts were added to finish it off. I made this card for a friend who has been under the weather, Her birthday is coming up so I think we need a little pampering -especially with this weather!

The challenge at Penny's runs for one week. There are two sponsors and that means 2 chances to win! Check out the blog for the other DT creations, they made some cute things.

See you next time

Melonheadz Challenge time

Hello friends and welcome back!

Our challenge at Melonheadz Friends this week is C.A.S. -clean and simple.

Here is my card using one of Nikki's adorable Raggedy Anne characters.

To keep it simple I mounted the precoloured digi on cardstock I had scored. I used my punches and rounded the corners at the top and scalloped the bottom edges.
Easy Peasy card to put together.

The challenge runs for two weeks and the DT has other great samples on the blog-go check them out!

See you next time,
Laura

It's Digi Sketch time

Head on over to the Digi Sketch Challenge blog where you can follow the theme, sketch provided or both!

The sponsor this week is Milk and Coffee

Here is my card following the theme

I'm sticking with my goal to make Christmas cards early this year so I created this card. I used my copics to colour her and for the sparkle, I added glitter to her bow. A giant flower and button finish it off.

The challenge runs for two weeks, I do hope you'll join us. Pop over to the blog check out the sketch and see what the other gals have made.

I'd like to enter this into the Lacy Sunshine Challenge-winter

Penny's challenge time

Hello bloggy buddies!

It's challenge time at Penny's challenge. The theme is ' anything goes' and one of our sponsors is

Here is a card I made using Under the Mistletoe.

So why a Christmas card? Well, because I stink. I didn't send out 1 handmade Christmas card last year. Not one. I sold most of my cards and didn't find the time to make some more. In my 'defense' my craft room is now being shared by my oldest, so my time in there is limited.
Anywho, I thought I should get a jump start on my cards now and hopefully I'll make enough for 2015-lol.

I coloured it up with my copics and used an assorted batch of rub-ons for the sentiment. I popped up the penguin for depth :)

As always the challenge runs for 1 week. Head on over to Penny's blog and check out the DT's cards. While you are there you can check out the other sponsor as well.

See you next time, stay warm-it's super cold out there!

Time for another fun challenge at Penny's

It's time for another fab challenge at Penny's Challenges.

Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps

Here is my card

I layered some papers and added a ribbon to the side. To make it wavy I used a sticky strip and glued down every other fold. The image was coloured with my copics and glitter was added to the two end flowers. I also added pearls to finish it off.

I do hope you will join in this anything goes challenge. It runs for one week. Hop on over to the blog to see the DT's  creations and who the other sponsor is! See you next week.

Laura

It's a new year and a new challenge!

It's time to pick up my copics again and create for the new Melonheadz Friends challenge!

Here is my card for the 'include a snowflake' challenge

Despite being in Canada, we don't have much snow here. It's kinda weird not having to dig out the car first thing in the morning. Lol

These digis are from a while back but make a super cute, easy card. I layered some papers and popped the elves up with dimensionals.  I added twine and a snowflake to finish off the card.

The challenge runs for two weeks. As a reminder if you use a Melonheadz digi the theme is anything goes. I can't wait to see what you create :)

Crafty hugs,
Laura
