Lacy Sunshine challenge

There's a die cut challenge at the Lacy Sunshine blog. I used the digi Waverly. If you play along in the challenge you get the next digi free-cool huh?

I used copics to colour her up and added pearls to the die cut flower/stem and the side

When I grow up....

When I grow up, I will make my card posting deadlines......

Sorry for the late post tonight. I had done up all my cards and posts prior to leaving on vacation and missed this one-eek!

It's time for a new challenge at the Melonheadz Friends Blog.

The challenge is 'when I grow up' and I decided to use this digi from the Kim's tools bundle.

When I was younger I wanted to be a lawyer, or a teacher. I ended up going to school to be a Child and Youth worker instead :) Did you 'grow up' to be in your ideal job?

Challenge runs for 2 weeks and the winner gets to pick out a fabulous digi pack from the Melonheadz Etsy store. Good luck!

Digi Sketch challenge time

Crafty Sentiment Designs is the sponsor this round at the Digi Sketch Challenge blog.

The theme is 'use a stamp' and there is a sketch to go along with it too.

Here is my card using 'Eve'

She was so fun to colour up and when I saw this birthday paper in my stash I knew what I wanted to create. The star brad is from Stampin' Up and the ribbon is a bit from my stash ( I think originally from Michaels)

The challenge runs for 2 weeks and the winner will receive 3 images of their choice.

I'll be by to visit your blogs, can't wait to see what you create!

Spots or Stripes at Penny's Challenges

It's time for another challenge at Penny's Challenges. This week's theme is spots or stripes.

The artist I got to work with is StampArt by Kathryne :)  Unfortunately this week, I had to make a sympathy card but since Kathryne images are so versatile I think it worked.

The paper is basic grey from Stampin' Up and the polka dots are washi tape (super cute, right?) I decided to only outline the image to keep it simple. The sentiment was one I had on the computer ( sorry,  I don't know the artist)

Penny's challenges run for one week so break out those spots and stripes and get your creative on!

Anything Goes at Penny's Challenges

Lacy Sunshine is sponsoring the Anything Goes challenge at Penny's challenges.

If you haven't visited Penny's challenges before this is the perfect week to do so! The challenges run weekly beginning on Wednesdays.

Here is my card using Alexis Cherished Wings. When I saw her in the store, I had to have her! This is what I created

I coloured her with my copic markers adding half pearls to her hair. I added a butterfly and some pearls in the corners. She was cut out using a spellbinders die and it was finished off with a pink ribbon from Stampin' Up.

I have been enjoying visiting your blogs and I look forward to seeing what you have made this round :)

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping in.

Melonheadz Friends is having an animal challenge, come join us! If you use a Melonheadz image you can use any theme.

Here is a happy birthday card I made for my nephew

I love this image. I coloured him up using my bright coloured copics. I added some polka dot papers, punched stars and twine to complete the card. Easy Peasy and super cute!

The challenge runs for one week and the prize is a digi pack from Melonheadz. If you don't have a digi to play along, you can also pop over to the blog and snag a freebie. You'll find they are really easy to colour up :)

Have  a super week!

Lacy Sunshine challenge

There is a challenge going on right now at Lacy Sunshine with the theme of  Anything Goes.

I used this super cute digi that was a freebie on the L.S. facebook page.

She is so cute that I wanted to do a CAS style of card, here is what I made

Isn't she adorable? I coloured her using my copic markers and added a die cut in the corner. The ribbon is a adhesive one (bought at Michaels) and I added a rub on ' you mean the workd to me'

I roughed up the edges on the first layer to give the card texture, too.

I am also entering these challenges:

UPDATE: I was chosen as 'top 3' for this card from the gals at the Lacy Sunshine blog , thank you :)

It's a patterned paper frenzy at Penny's Challenge!

Head on over to Penny's challenges and join in the fun! This week the challenge is to use 2 or more patterned papers-easy peasy.

Our sponsor is one of my favs Bugaboo Stamps.

Here's what I did as I was dreaming of warmer weather ;)

I can't wait until the summer comes and we can jump in the lake.
This card was coloured with copic markers and I used left over patterned paper to make the base.

The challenge runs for one week and I'll be popping by your blogs to see what you've made.
Have a super week :)
