It's time for another Melonheadz Friends challenge! -Spring
It's Spring, it's Spring, or so they say. I see the flowers trying to bloom. I think at the vary least the snow is gone (keeping my fingers crossed!)
Time to break out those materials and make a springy card. This sums up how I feel about Spring this year
Get it? Spring is going to come when pigs fly! Gotta laugh or it'll get you down :)
The challenge runs for 2 weeks. Can't wait to see what you create. Last challenge you guys rocked my socks off!

It's challenge time at MelJens'
We just came in from making a snowman-yes a snowman in March! We had a blast and decided to settle in with a snack and the game Trouble.
Then my daughter wanted to craft. Actually she said "Mommy can we craft but with just your craft stuff today?'
Yes, that is a special, special thing for her to do. To give her access to all my craft stuff...oh my!
Well, I gave in and said ' Sure honey' as I secretly prayed I had put away all my stash. You know the stuff you had to have because you LOVE it, the stuff you don't use because you love it!
Here is the card she made using a MelJen's image
She picked out everything herself :) Not bad for a 5 year old!
While there I played around with a freebie Melissa gave out on Facebook this weekend. I'd like to enter it into the MelJen's challenge blog-boys challenge
I coloured it up with my copic makers and added a Recollection border sticker. It didn't fit so I cut it and placed the top portion of it ( the dotted line) at the top. The sentiment I made in Word and I finished it off with the half pearls in the black circles. So hard not to add ribbon/flowers on it!!
Thanks for popping by :)

It's time to play at Penny's Challenge
Hello bloggy friends :)
I have been enjoying the 'spring' like conditions walking with my children everyday after dinner. It's so fun to see them enjoying the birds, searching for buds on trees and having a blast running around.
This week at Penny's Challenge the theme is use your favourite colour combo. I just love so many colour combos, but this time if year I surround my self with pinks, purples and greens. There is just something about pink/purple tullips that says 'yes, spring is finally here!'
Eureka Stamps is one of the sponsors and I used this flower image from them
Here is my flower card using pink, purple and green
I printed the image in purple which made the lines softer then coloured it up with my copic markers. I added a ribbon and pearl line for details.
Challenge runs for one week. I hope you'll find time to play!
Thanks for stopping by :)

Clear it out Tuesday
It's challenge time at the Clear it out Blog. The theme is 'Green' an so is the stash item.
I had the pleasure of working with Hope Jacre Doodles an artist located inside the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet
The digi is called Celebration Rosette. I just love the whimsical look of this. Here is what did
I cut and layered the image 3 times popping each layer up on dimensionals. The background was embossed with a Stampin' Up folder and I added a light pink to the centers to blend in with the digi. The image was coloured with copics and for my green stash item I used these
I have no idea what they are called. I was given them when I won a contest about 2 years ago. Maybe half pearls??
The challenge runs for one week, I hope you'll join along :)

Lacy Sunshine
I had fun colouring up this digi while waiting for my 12 loads of laundry today.
The digi Mayde Laundry Days was a freebie to play along with on facebook.
I photoshopped the background and words adding the black/white digi to colour. I used my copic markers to colour it up. The frame was one I had on hand from Ikea.
Here is a closer view
I hope to hang it up in the laundry room...once I find the floor. I still have bedding to wash!
