It's challenge time at the Clear it Out Blog! I have met so many wonderful people running the challenge site over the past two years. It's been a lot of fun and I hope that the DT and I continue to inspire you to Clear Out your stash.
Thanks for joining us each week :)
Here is my card for the current challenge -Happy Birthday, use 2 or more ribbons
So what is my stash item? The base of my card. It was a gorgeous card I made a long time ago with a beautiful full flower across it. Unfortunately somewhere along the line it got a black mark across the flower and part of the base. Quick fix...add an adorable image from Saturated Canary that I coloured with my copic markers!
I added the 2 ribbon as per the challenge and included a layered flower, complete with gem.
There is one week to play along, can't wait to see what you create!

Make it Masculine at Digi Darla Designs
Head on over for another fun challenge at DigiDarla Designs! The challenge is to 'make it masculine'.
I had a lot of fun colouring this cute little baby with my copics. Here is my card
Totally cute digi, right? Did you notice a brighter light on my cards? What do you think? I picked up a 'daylight' light from Costco. I think it does a fabulous job at catching the true colours AND it was only $20-score!
You have one week to play along, I can't wait to see what you'll create.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Ribbit, Ribbit, it's Hambo Time!
It's time for another fab challenge at the Hambo Hoedown! After many days of shoveling snow I was inspired to make a 'warmer' type of card.
I used the digi from Hambo Stamps called 'frog boy'.
The challenge is to use bumps in your design so I used my big shot and added some raised dots to the water. I also added a wooden tree I found in my stash. I coloured up the boy frog with copic markers.
I am giving this card to my girlfriend who told me 'she was dying from all the dang snow she shoveled' Out side reads: Don't croak. Inside I wrote: Spring is coming soon!
Have a fabulous weekend :)

Seeing Spots with MelJen's
It's challenge time at the MelJen's challenge blog! The gals are seeing spots and want us to use them in our creations.
Melissa had a great sale on her digis so I scooped up a few. Here is one from her new line of gals called 'flirty diva'
Isn't she great? I coloured her up with my copics and added pearls to my stciky strips. I then added some flowers in the corners for dimension.
The inspiration for my design is from the challenge blog Crafting When We Can use a birthstone as your inspiration. I chose June for Pearls :)
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your comments :)

Food for Thought Challenge
It's challenge time at the Digi Darla Design blog! The theme is food with a sentiment.
I was really exctied when I saw this challenge and knew what I wanted to do...
Check out my card
Isn't she adorable? I've said it before, but I just love this line of little people DD does. Too stinkin' cute! I cut out the DD birthday sentiment and added a heart brad to the middle.
Here is another classic example of me using up my scraps. The two designer papers in the background were not complete squares. Each had a a section taken out of them, however, with a strategically placed digi, you'd never know! I added the two red stripes of red paper whcih I think makes the background interesting :)
Thanks for popping in. Don't forget the challenge runs for one week, and you can use any image to participate. Of course using a Digi Darla image gets you more chances to win! Good luck :)

It's Hambo Time-check one, check two
It's time to get "Clean and Simple" at the Hambo Hoedown Challenge Blog.
One of the things I love about Hambo Stamps is their fun designs and sentiments. I always look forward to their new releases. This week I used the Hambo image Microphone. To see how you can get a free digi too, please click on their link above.
Here is my card
I outlined my image with coral cardstock matching the copic markers I used for the digi. The star brad and ribbon are from SU.
This was a quick card to make and I think if I had a big announcement to make and needed several cards, this image and design would be perfect!
Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to hide away in my craft room tonight. The children had a P.D. day and have been home since noon. I had the bright idea to allow each of them to have a friend over. Yeah, that was way to many kids in the house!!
Until next time :)

Hambo 101
It's time for another Hambo Hoedown Challenge. After shoveling 44 inches of snow from our driveway, and the neighbours (who is on vacation) AND the elderly lady that lives beside them, I was excited to put my feet up and craft tonight.
I could barely lift my hands but managed to make a card using a Hambo Stamps digi called Bailey Rocks!
The image comes with 3 sentiments, I chose to use the 'you rock' one. I added a metal star brad (as per the challenge), and ribbon to make the red pop in the image.
I coloured it with my copic markers and gave Bailey some colour to his mowhawk. The black and white patterned paper has a shiny tint to it which really makes Bailey look like a rockin' dude!
Thanks a bunch for stopping by :)

Time to Clear it Out!
Head on over to the Clear it Out Challenge blog for our Red/ White Challenge! The sponsor is one of our favourites Bugaboo!
You can win up to 7 images of your choice-sweet!
Click on the name Bugaboo above to buy this adorable image called Bunny Love 1.
Isn't it adorable? Love this image. Anywho, you have 2 weeks to play along.
For my clear it out item I used the die cut behind the bunny. I had it laying around in my box of die cuts. I'm sure it's at least a year old. Do you keep the die cuts from your project that didn't work? I have a box full. It really makes it easier to pull a quick card together.
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges
Outlawz -Paper a la mode
Creative Creations -it must be love
Have a great week!

I've got a new DT position!
Yeah, I can finally spill the beans! I am so excited to announce I am a Design Team member at DigiDarla Designs.

Today the challenge is 'My Style".
Well to be honest, that through me for a loop. What is my style? Here is my card...can you guess?
I think my style is called 'Go with the Flow'. I never pre-plan a card, which sometimes gets me in trouble. For
example on this card I wanted to do a shiny silver background, except I
cut it to short. So I made my card an inch shorter to accommodate it
-lol.
Did you see that wedding dress? Seriously, isn't it gorgeous? Stunning, I just love the words weaved throughout and knew I had to pick it up from the store.
You have one week to enter the challenge. I look forward to visiting your blog to see what you have created.
Thanks for stopping by!

MelJen's Inchies Challenge
It's time to play again at the MelJen's Challenge Blog. The challenge is to use 'inchies'.
As I mentioned before I am in the process of redoing my craft room. I was so excited to find a box of Basic Grey scraps hiding away! Woot, woot!
Using those scraps, here is a card I made with 4 of MelJen's stamps
I thought this would make for a cute birthday card for a little boy.
I coloured the digis with Copic markers and popped up the stars. My printer was so kind as to leave marks through the sentiment digi :( so I used a black liner pen to go over the sentiment. ( it doesn't look as wobbly when you buy it from the store, that was me-lol)
Thanks for stopping in :)

It's Hambo Time-100th Challenge
The Hambo Hoedown has reached it's 100th challenge! That's amazing. I think I've entered them all except 3-4, crazy eh?
This week the challenge is a card layout design. I used the cute new digi from Hambo Stamps called
'Snow Heart'. I just adore this image. It's so stinkin' cute. Here is my card
I never know how much of a stretch you can do when there is a specific layout. But I added the ribbon to the design. I could see adding snow along the bottom, puffy clouds in the sky, etc. Maybe the next one. Anywho, I coloured her using copic markers and glittered the heart. The circle is popped up to give the card added dimension.
Thanks for stopping by :) Have a great weekend.
